Bluebells Mixed
One of the few spring bulbs for shade.
This product is not available this season.
A blended, unlabelled mixture of white, blue and pink flowers. Excellent for naturalising.
Bluebells are one of the few spring bulbs that tolerate shade. They are native to woodland areas, and so will grow best in dappled light. In cool climates they will tolerate full sun. Bluebells look amazing planted beneath deciduous trees, in drifts or even pots. They are tolerant of root competition.
Plant Bluebells into humus rich, well drained soil. Plant 10-20cm deep and around 10cm apart.
The bulbs are best planted where they can be left to naturalise. The Bluebell bulbs will multiply gradually. Add a general purpose fertiliser such as blood and bone when they are in bloom.
Bluebell flowers are suitable for cutting.
