These deep, rose red flowers will steal the show! The petals have the classic gold dusting running through them, it is because of this stunning feature that they were commonly known as Diamond Lilies in Victorian England. Its other common name is Guernsey Lily.

It is dormant through the summer and should remain relatively dry. They like a good amount of sun through winter.

Nerines are the ultimate source of low maintenance autumn and winter colour. The flowers show before the foliage, allowing their beauty to shine unencumbered.

Nerine bulbs love to bake in the sun, so plant your bulb just under the soil surface in a sunny spot. All they need is a well drained soil and the occasional application of fertiliser. Once planted, let them lie there year after year, allowing the clump of bulbs to become overcrowded. In other words; plant, relax and enjoy the show!

A lesser appreciated but very important benefit of Nerines is that the different varieties flower at different times. This means that if you plant a range of varieties, you will enjoy splashes of colour from February until winter every year.
