Watering: Keep soil slightly moist whilst the bulbs are actively growing and dry whilst the bulbs are dormant. Frost tolerances: Hardy to -10C. Flowering time: Autumn. Foliage appears later in late winter or Spring. Preferred soil: Needs good drainage. Preferred aspect: Full sun to light shade Ideal climates: Grows well through most of south-eastern Australia. Pruning: None required. Fertilising: Feed in Summer with a general fertiliser or bulb food and again after flowering for best results. Uses & comments: These bulbs provide valuable colour during Autumn when few other flowers are adding colour to the garden & can be left to naturalise in the garden, in the rockery or in pots.
