Soil type: Moist, well drained & fertile. However, generally very tolerant and will grow in dry, poor soils. Heat tolerante, this makes them excellent for growing over stone walls and in rockeries.
Position: Full sun. Will tolerate light shade.
Frost: Hardy
Fertilising details: 1 handful blood and bone per sq. meter annually
Preferred climates: Cool to temperate
