Botanical names: C.portenschlagiana 'Resholt Variety' and C.punctata 'Elizabeth'
Plant type: Herbaceous perennial.
Planting time: Ideally in Winter.
Size:

  • Elizabeth: 60 x 60cm
  • Resholt:15cm x 30-45 cm spread

Depth: Planting depth is as per the pot.
Spacing:
  • Elizabeth 60cm
  • Resholt 40cm

Aspect: Full sun to light shade.
Soil: Well drained & rich is ideal although they are tolerant of poor soils.
Watering: Keep the plant well watered whilst actively growing.
Fertilising: Apply a complete fertiliser annually in Spring.
Flowering time: Late Spr to Summer. Elizabeth will flower much longer - often into late Autumn.
Pruning required: Cut back each Winter after the flowers fade.
Climatic tolerances: Cool to temperate.
