Soil: Well drained. The ideal pH is 4.5-5.5. Climatic Tolerances: For cool to temperate climates only. Does better with protection from very heavy frosts. Fertilising: Plant in a rich soil and give a handful of general purpose fertiliser each Spring. Flowering time:Early Spring. Pruning required:By cutting the flowers occasionally you'll be doing all the pruning that's necessary.
