Watering: Keep well watered whilst actively growing.

Flowering time: From Summer, usually not finishing until the frosts start.
Preferred soil: Well drained
Preferred aspect: Full sun to light shade
Ideal climates: Cool to temperate.
Pruning: Cut the plant back hard each Winter.
Fertilising: Feed annually in early Spring with a general purpose fertiliser.
Uses & comments: Ruby Star is a new dwarf variety of a favourite plant which can now be enjoyed in smaller gardens.
