Soil: Well drained but generally not fussy.
Climate: Cool to Sub-Tropical.
Aspect: Full sun.
Fertilizer: Apply a well-balanced fertilizer in winter or at the beginning of spring.
After flowering care: Remove large spent flower spires and cut back hard at the end of autumn.
Comments: Give these plants plenty of room to grow. Not suitable for pots.
