Botanical name: Euphorbia dulcis 'Chameleon' Family: Euphorbiaceae Plant type: Perennial. Plant size: 30cm tall x 40cm wide Depth & spacing: Plant with the crown at the soil surface (ie: to the same level as it was in the pot) and 40cm apart. Watering: Water well to establish but generally this plant is drought tolerant. Frost tolerances: Will tolerate light frosts but protect from heavy ones. Flowering time: This Euphorbia flowers in Summer but the foliage is the main feature of this plant and it looks wonderful from Spring to Autumn. Preferred soil: Well drained. Preferred aspect: Full sun to light shade. Ideal climates: Cool to sub-tropical Pruning/After flowering care: Cut back the plant back for Winter each year (but ensure you wear gloves - see below). Fertilising: Feed annually in early Spring with a general purpose fertiliser Caution: Some people are sensitive to the sap, so wear gloves whilst pruning.
