Galtonia
Family:Hyacinthaceae.
Plant type: Bulb.
Plant Size:1.2-2m tall x 30cm wide.
Depth and Spacing:Plant bulbs 10-20cm apart, 5-10cm deep.
Soil: Free draining.
Aspect: Full sun to semi shade.
Watering:Keep soil moist during the growing season but allow it to dry once the bulb becomes dormant.
Fertilising:General, complete fertiliser.
Climatic Tolerances: Cool to temperate. The bulbs are relatively frost tolerant but in areas of extreme frosts, it is beneficial to dig the bulbs once dormant and store until replanting in early spring.
Flowering time:Spring/Summer.
