Origin:: Discovered in a NZ garden
Size: Stems to 1-2m tall.
Blooming season: Summer
Planting time: Late Winter/early Spring.
Planting depth & Spacing: Plant 5-10cm deep & 10-20cm apart.
Soil: Free draining.
Climatic Tolerances: Subtropical to cool.
These bulbs are relatively frost tolerant but in areas of extreme frosts, it is beneficial to dig the bulbs once dormant & store until replanting in early Spring.
Watering: Keep the soil moist during Summer but allow it to dry out once the bulbs become dormant.
Fertilising: General, complete fertiliser.
