Preferred soil: Rich, well drained.
Preferred position: Full sun
Preferred climate: Cool to temperat
Planting depth and spacing: Plant with the crown (where the stem meet the
roots) at ground level & 50-60cm apart.
Pruning: Cut back to the ground each Winter.
Watering: Keep watered during main growth periods.
Fertilising: Apply a general purpose fertiliser annually in early Spring.
Frost tolerance: Hardy.
