Botanical name: Iris foetidissima 'Variegata' Plant size: 40cm x 50-60cm tall Depth & spacing: Plant with the crown at soil level & 40-50cm apart. Flowering time: Rarely flowers but it's the striped green and cream foliage that creates a wonderful display. Watering: Once established this plant is drought tolerant but should be watered well when first planted Preferred soil: This plant is tolerant of a wide variety of soils but a rich soil is ideal. Preferred aspect: Part shade. Fertilising: Feed annually in early Spring with a general purpose fertiliser.
