Kniphofia ‘Ice Queen’

Depth and spacing: Plant the crown at soil surface with the roots spread evenly below soil surface. Space 1m apart.
Watering: Water well when first planted. Once established, they are quite drought tolerant.

Planting time: Anytime
Soil: Tolerates almost any soil conditions but will thrive in rich, well-drained soils.
Climate: Cool to Sub-Tropical.
Aspect: Full sun to semi shade.
Fertilizer: Apply a well-balanced fertilizer in winter.
After flowering care: Cut off spent flower heads and dead foliage. If the foliage has not died back by winter, cut back to the ground. This will encourage new healthy growth.
Comments: These flowers make an excellent display in a vase and last for many weeks.
