Depth and spacing: Plant where the roots meet the crown. Spread roots evenly below soil surface. Plant 50cm apart.
Watering: Water occasionally if rainfall is low. Drought tolerant.
Frost tolerance: Keep protected from frosts.
Planting time: Anytime
Soil: Well drained, particularly through winter as they don’t like sitting in water.
Climate: Cool to Sub-Tropical.
Aspect: Full sun to semi shade.
Fertilizer: None required.
After flowering care: Divide only if pot bound or you wish to increase stock. Suckers can be removed in spring.
Comments: A great pot specimen and will thrive on neglect.
