Old Fashioned Grannys Bonnets

Plant type: Herbaceous perennial.
Size (HxW): 90cm x 45cm
Depth and spacing: Plant at the same level as in the pot with the crown at the soil surface and roots spread evenly below. Space 45cm apart.
Watering: Keep well watered whilst actively growing.
Frost tolerance: Hardy
Flowering time: Spring till summer.
Planting time: Plant during dormancy (winter).
Soil: Well drained, humus rich is ideal.
Climate: Cool to Temperate.
Aspect: Full sun to semi shade.
Fertilizer: Apply a well-balanced fertilizer in late winter.
After flowering care: Remove any spent flowers and remove foliage in late autumn.
Comments: These are wonderful in a shaded position where they are free to seed and grow in mass
