Watering: Keep soil moist for best results but once established, this plant is reasonably drought tolerant.

Flowering time: Late Spring to Summer
Preferred soil: Well drained soils give the best results.
Preferred aspect: Full sun to part shade.

Pruning: Tidy up and a cut back late in Autumn.

Uses & comments: This tough genus is well suited to rockeries, dry stone
walls and similar environments.
