Depth and spacing: Plant at the same level as in the pot with roots spread evenly below soil surface. Plant 1m apart.
Watering: Water occasionally if rainfall is low.
Frost tolerance: Hardy
Flowering time: Summer till autumn.
Planting time: Anytime, but generally whilst dormant (winter-spring).
Soil: Well drained, but generally not too fussy.
Climate: Cool to Sub-Tropical.
Aspect: Full sun to semi shade.
Fertilizer: Apply a well-balanced fertilizer during winter each year.
After flowering care: Remove spent flowers and cut back foliage in early winter.
Comments: Can be used as an informal hedge and is quite drought tolerant.
