Botanical name: Sedum x telephium
Plant type: Herbaceous perennial.
Size (HxW): 60cm x 30cm
Depth and spacing: Plant at the same level as in the pot with roots spread evenly below soil surface. Plant 30cm apart.
Watering: Water occasionally if rainfall in low. Drought tolerant.
Frost tolerance: Hardy
Flowering time: Summer till autumn.
Planting time: Anytime, but generally whilst dormant (winter-spring).
Soil: Well drained, but generally not too fussy.
Climate: Cool to Sub-Tropical.
Aspect: Full sun to semi shade.
Fertilizer: Apply a well-balanced fertilizer in winter – spring.
After flowering care: Cut off spent flowers and foliage in autumn.
Comments: Sedums suit a large variety of gardens. They look great in a dry border or in a cottage garden. Can also be grown in pots.
