Plant/bulb type: True bulbs
Planting time: Late Summer to Autumn
Height: 20-30cm

  • Silver Chimes: 5-8cm

Aspect: Full sun. In warmer climates these bulbs will tolerate part shade.
Soil: Well drained.
Watering: Start watering when growth appears and keep soil slightly moist until foliage dies off after flowering. It is ideal to keep bulbs relatively dry whilst dormant.
Fertilising: Top dress with a complete fertiliser each Autumn. Eg: Blood & Bone.

After flowering care: Leave these bulbs alone. They will naturalise quite happily. You can cut the foliage off after it dies back completely.
