This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
Peony 'Marie Lemoine' is a late flowering variety with a rich fragrance. These flowers remind me of a fluffy duck! They are quite large with occasional crimson edges on the petals.
Peony Roses are vigorous garden plants with blooms that make wonderful cut flowers.
No matter where we display these flowers there is always a stream of people who are fascinated by their magnificent blooms. Peony Roses look exotic and temperamental and yet they are hardy and grow well in cool to temperate Australian gardens. So don't be intimidated by their beauty, indulge in an abundant spring to summer display of intoxicating loveliness.
The exotic flowers of Peony Roses have been cherished since the 5th century and during their long and illustrious history, Peonies have been the flower favoured by Emperors and Gods. Fortunately, they are now accessible to the common gardener.
You will have to be patient for at least a year before you can enjoy the flowers of Peony Roses, as they resent having their roots disturbed, but the wait will be justified for many years as they are extremely long lived.
Peony Roses need cold winters (3-5C at least) for best flowers. Treat your Peony Roses like hungry teenage boys and feed them well! They also like lime and lot's of it, so be sure to indulge them.
