Fuchsia Pinto de Blue
A knockout bloom.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
The white and green sepals encase fabulous royal purple petals. A stunning, trailing variety with plenty of fully double flowers.
These new varieties of Fuchsia are vigorous with good disease resistance. They are both sun and shade tolerant, and will flower freely with just three hours sun a day.
The flowers open freely for a long period over the lush green leaves. Fuchsia blooms are like pretty dancers, in fancy skirts that sway in the breeze.
Fuchsias grow best in semi shade to filtered light conditions, where they thrive in both pots and gardens.
In the garden, plant Fuchsias into humus rich, moist, well drained soil and be sure to shelter the plants from drying winds and frost. In pots, use a good quality potting mix and add some fertiliser. You will need to keep them moist during their active growth.
Fuchsias main flowering is in late spring and summer. It is a good idea to remove spent flowers and add a little fertiliser once this main flush has finished, to encourage a second round of flowers in autumn.
