Eye catching blooms! They have no stamens, so you don’t have to worry about stains, and they will last longer – in both the garden and the vase. The stems are strong and uphold the flowers with pride.
Double Asiatic Lily ‘Sundew’ has brilliant gold petals with a dusting of red freckles.
Asiatic Liliums are hardy cultivars with bright, colourful, upward facing flowers with little to no fragrance. Stems average 4-8 blooms, numbers increase as the bulbs establish. They make excellent cut flowers and are so easy to grow.
Simply plant, your Asiatic Lilies, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. In fact, the longer Liliums have to establish the blooms they produce. Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location. They will appreciated afternoon shade in warmer climates.
Keep your Lilies moist while in growth and fertilise at the start of the season and again as the flowers are finishing. Mulch over the summer to help maintain moisture levels in the soil.
They will take 10-14 weeks to flower.
