Enduring clusters of fiery petals. The deep, cherry red petals age graciously to terracotta then shades of gold and bronze. This gorgeous, sun loving, compact Achillea will flowers for months.

They are an excellent partner plant for spring flowering bulbs as it emerges just as they are receding, Achillea ‘Fireland’ will then go on to shade the garden soil in summer whilst the bulbs are dormant.

Try Achillea in gardens, rock gardens, meadow plantings or pots. The flowers will attract plenty of beneficial insects and birds to the garden.
Achillea are great garden plants. They are sun loving, produce plenty of flowers and don’t need a lot of fuss. They love the heat and don’t mind a bit of dry. Poor soils aren’t a problem for them and the flowers are terrific cut and or dried. If you leave the blooms on the plant they will slowly fade to a bronze that can be left into winter.
Achillea ‘Fireland’ or ‘Feuerland’ is well branched with fine, fern like foliage. It will form a nice, bushy plant.

Plant in a sunny spot, with well drained soil. Water in, then only required if rainfall is low. What is especially exciting for me is that they are rabbit resistant, which gives me one less plant to worry about! Cut the first round of flowers off for a second showing late summer/autumn.
Achillea is commonly known as Sneezewort or Yarrow.
