Double Asiatic Lily Annemarie's Dream

Upward facing creamy white, layered blooms of distinction. A pollen and fragrance free choice with great staying power. The flowers can be affected by the temperature, so if the spring/summer has been warm there will be fewer, but it averages ¾ double which is pretty impressive, and the singles are handsome besides. The shorter, strong stems average 80cm.
Double Asiatic Liliums are hardy cultivars with bright, colourful, upward facing flowers. The stems average 4-8 blooms, with numbers increasing as the bulbs establish. They make excellent cut flowers and are so easy to grow.
Simply plant, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. Choose a humus rich, moist, well drained soil in a sunny location. They will appreciate afternoon shade in warmer climates.
Keep your lilies moist while in growth and fertilise at the start of the season, and again as the flowers are finishing. Mulching over the summer will help maintain moisture levels in the soil.
