Beautifully shaped, recurved butter-yellow petals with lots of freckles. This variety is rare and definitely one for collectors. Of course flower lovers are also likely to fall victim to the Lecithin's Lily’s charms.

This beautiful, species Lily hails from the sandy soils of Japan. The blooms open on purple stems that grow 60-120cm with up to 12 flowers at a time.

Leichtlin's Lily is hardy with bright, colourful flowers that open from mid summer and last well in both gardens and vases.

Simply plant, Leichtlin's Lily, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy.

Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location – half a day of sun is generally perfect, colder zones will tolerate more sun. Leichtlin's Lily appreciate afternoon shade in warmer climates. Water in, and keep moist during active growth. Add fertiliser and mulch in autumn and summer, as the bulbs growth is coming and going.
