A dwarf Achillea with gorgeous, creamy white flowers that unfurl from yellow buds. It makes a nice little groundcover that will give you plenty of blooms.

Achillea ‘Moon Pagoda’ holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit.

Achillea ‘Moon Pagoda’ is tolerant of poor soils and likes a sunny position. It will also grow well in a pot.

The dark green leaves have soft, silver hairs. The leaves form a dense mat that is great for suppressing those nasty weeds.

Achillea is commonly known as Sneezewort or Yarrow. The botanical name for the common form is Achillea ptarmica. Achillea is named for the Greek mythological hero who found healing qualities in plants. Ptarmica is from the green ptario which means to sneeze. When the foliage is crushed it has a fragrance which can cause sneezing. In fact, the dried leaves were used to make sneezing powder.

In its native tongue it is known as Achillea ‘Mondpagode’.
