Strong purple stems uphold glorious, semi double, golden yellow flowers. 40-60cm x 30-60cm. Full sun to semi shade. Flowers Sum-Aut. The strong, slender stems uphold the glorious, semi double, golden yellow flowers. Each blooms is around 4.5cm across and there are plenty of them.

Geum ‘Gold Ball’ is also known as Geum ‘Lady Stratheden’ and it holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit for its strong garden performance.

Geums are excellent, low mounding perennials that flower freely. They establish quickly and need little in the way of care. The colourful flowers will adorn your beds and fill your vases.

Geums are both shade and sun tolerant. In our opinion they tend to grow best in morning sun.

Geums are easily woven through beds and borders or beneath deciduous trees. They are tough, hardy and easy care!

Plant Geums in well drained, humus rich soil. It is a good idea to remove spent flower heads as this will encourage more blooms. Award winning.
