Tritonia Sugar and Spice
Long lasting and easy care.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
This Tritonia blend is all things nice with a mix of pink, apricot and white blooms. It makes an impressive choice for a well drained, sunny position.
6-10 flowers open on each stem and the blooms last well, flowering for a few weeks. Each bloom is 3-5cm in diameter.
Tritonia are wonderfully care free and free flowering. The blooms open amid short, lance shaped leaves.
Tritonia are commonly called Flame Freesias and they are members of the Iris family and hail from South Africa.
Plant Tritonia ‘Sugar and Spice’ in a sunny spot with well drained soil. Once planted, bulbs can be left in the ground for years without the need to dig them each year. Add some fertiliser when they begin to emerge in spring, and again when they are flowering for best results. Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low during active growth. They should be relatively dry in dormancy.
Tritonia ‘Sugar and Spice’ is suitable for growing in pots, as long as they have good drainage.
