Lilium 'Prince Promise' Lilium x hybridaThis new Lilium is a real dazzler, producing huge flowers with both fragrance and flair. Bred by crossing Christmas Lilies (Lilium longiflorum) with Oriental Lilies (Lilium x auratum x speciosum) and then again crossing with Oriental Lilies. The result is large, trumpet shaped blooms with the most divine perfume, in shades of pink and cream, on strong, vigorous stems. With some love and care in the garden, the stems of ‘Prince Promise’, at full maturity, will bear 5-6 blooms. An absolute delight in the garden. You can also cut the stems for a wonderful, long lasting indoor display. We are sure you will agree, this is a truly exceptional Lilium.
