Scabiosa Twist Pink

Heart melting pink, pincushion flowers for much of the year. The blooms open on tall, airy stems from spring and last well into autumn – longer in warmer climes. There are plenty for the garden as well as for picking.

Scabiosa ‘Twist Pink’ will grow to form a nice mound of soft, mid green leaves. They look great planted at the front of a garden bed, along a pathway, in a rock garden or a pot. They are very attractive to beneficial insects such as butterflies and bees.

Plant in a sunny garden spot with moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish then only if rainfall is low, they are dry tolerant. Remove spent flowers regularly during growth to keep plants tidy and prolong the flowering season.
