Astilbe (reduced) Collection
Beautiful plumage.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
Superb in a part shade to morning sun position (think Hostas and ferns), these cottage garden sweethearts have remarkable floral plumes and soft, lacy foliage.
The flowers of Astilbe can be picked for vases where they last incredibly well, you can even dry them.
The flowers will turn bronze with the cooler weather and remain beautifully ornamental through autumn and winter, even after the foliage fades.
Plant Astilbe into a humus rich, moist soil, an acid PH is preferred but not demanded. Water in your Astilbe and keep them moist in active growth. You could add a little mulch in summer to help retain moisture around the roots. They prosper in boggy soils.
Astilbe Collection, one of each variety, separately labelled. Includes ‘Europa’, ‘Peach Blossom’, ‘Cattleya’, ‘Erica’, ‘Washington’ and ‘Paul Gaarder’.
