Pretty peach and pink double flowers with eight or more petals. The large flowers are up to 8cm across. A trailing variety that looks lovely in hanging baskets and pots.
Fuchsias are like pretty dancers in fancy skirts that sway in the breeze. The flowers open freely for a long period over the lush green leaves.
Fuchsias grow best in semi shade to filtered light where they thrive in both pots and gardens.
In the garden, plant Fuchsias into humus rich, moist, well drained soil and be sure to shelter the plants from drying winds and frost. In pots, use a good quality potting mix and add some fertiliser.
Water to establish and then keep the plants moist but not wet during active growth. For best flowers, add slow release fertilise your Fuchsias in spring.
Fuchsias flower in summer, it is a good idea to remove spent flowers and add a little fertiliser once the main flush has finished to encourage a second round of flowers in autumn.
