Large, deep crimson red petals surround a cluster of golden stamen. Peony ‘Early Scout’ has narrow, cut leaf foliage and is quite compact, growing around 70cm x 60cm.

You will have to be patient for at least a year before you can enjoy the flowers of Peony Roses, as they resent having their roots disturbed, but the wait will be justified for many years as they are extremely long lived.
Peony Roses need cold winters (3-5C at least) for best flowers. Peony roses are heavy feeders, so you need to fertilise them regularly. They also like lime, and lot’s of it, so be sure to indulge them.
