Potato 'Sebago' is a white flesh cultivar suitable for just about anything! Use them for baking, steaming, boiling, frying or mashing.
This American cultivar came to Australia in 1940, it remains popular and takes around 130 days to mature. In addition to flowers, it may produce berries, these are inedible.
Potatoes are simple to grow, don't take up a lot of space, have high yields and a million uses in the kitchen.
There are lots of ways to grow Potatoes. They are so easy, they will succeed in the ground, in pots or even grown in sacks! So why not give them a try?
You need a sunny spot and a well drained soil. In ideal conditions you can expect up to a 10kg harvest from each 1kg of potatoes you plant. From planting you only have to wait 15-20 weeks to harvest your delicious crop.
