You can cut off any initial spent flowers to encourage more, or just leave them, up to you they will still produce a good amount of flowers. You can leave the second round of flower/seed heads to stand for their ornamental value and for the birds. Then cut back hard late winter or early spring to allow the new growth to shine.
Notes
Flowers last well in a vase. Protect new growth from slugs and snails. Divide in autumn as they become overcrowded, every four years or so.
