AMAZING autumn colour.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
A beautiful, dense shrub that turns BRILLIANT red in autumn. Wow, and stunning are two words that come to mind, fiery, tomato, glowing, I could go on! It is so scarlet red that it is commonly known as the Burning Bush.
Late spring to early summer, little chartreuse flowers unfurl among the leaves and are followed by purple-red ornamental berries. These berries remain through autumn, then open in winter to reveal bright orange seeds for the birds.
Euonymus ‘Compactus’ makes a handsome specimen or border plant, they can even be used in low hedging. Seasonal foliage is a lovely dark green . The unusual ridges synonymous with Euonymus are more subtle with this variety.
Euonymus ‘Compactus’ holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit so you know it has been put through its paces.
Euonymus ‘Compactus’ is tolerant of a range of soils and will grow in a full sun to part shade position. You will get the best autumn colour in full sun to light shade. It is slow growing and likes to be well watered whilst establishing. Easily pruned to your desired size.
