Miscanthus 'Flamingo'
One of the great grasses.
In stock

Miscanthus ‘Flamingo’ is a fabulous garden choice. The foliage is relaxed, yet stately. It is quite tall and upright yet has a poised, fluid feel as the blades gracefully arch.
It’s size and structure can create quite an impact.
Summer to autumn the foliage is crowned with feathery, flamingo pink blooms that mature to a handsome, silver-bronze. They float above the foliage, moving gently with the slightest breeze.
Miscanthus ‘Flamingo’ has interest across four seasons with new growth in spring, summer flowers, autumn bronzing and winter structure.
Miscanthus ‘Flamingo’ is a clump forming herbaceous grass that is easy to grow. Plant into any well drained soil in a sunny position, water to establish then only if rainfall is low. Dry tolerant once established. Grows best in a sunny spot.
Miscanthus ‘Flamingo’ can be left to stand over winter as it remains decorative. You can then cut it back late winter /early spring to allow the new foliage to shine through.
