A valuable addition.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
A striking choice for a massed planting, Veronicastrum 'Coen Jansen' adds a gorgeous, vertical element to the garden. The branching, upright flowers open freely on strong stems and last well, right to frost. They are even good for picking.
The erect stems of Veronicastrums are ideal for architectural interest in the garden. They look sensational planted with grasses, or in a cottage garden setting. Amazing massed, or planted in repeated pockets through beds.
Propagated by plant doyens Antique Perennials.
The flowers are similar to Veronicas which is where they get their botanical name, Veronicastrum. The deep green, lance like leaves form whorls along the stems.
Grow Veronicastrum in moderately fertile to humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Plant in a full sun to part shade position. Ensure there is good air flow around the plants.
Commonly known as Pink Culvers Root.
