Soft pink to creamy white flowers with deep, carmine pink markings to steal your heart.
If you are short on garden space but need more colour, Cottage Gladioli are a great solution. You can tuck them into the nooks and crannies of the garden, for a cheerful splurge of colour in late spring.
Each corm produces two or three spikes with up to seven flowers on each! What`s more, there is no need to stake these low maintenance bulbs as they have strong and compact stems.
Cottage Gladioli have dainty flowers that are produced from hardy bulbs. They are the perfect height for naturalising amongst perennials, and their sturdy nature means they are tolerant of heat and frost.
Cottage Gladioli flowers are ideal for cutting and filling your home with colour.
Cottage Gladioli bulbs are just as hardy as their larger counterparts and like a similar growing environment. Plant into a well drained soil in a sunny position, they need around six hours sun a day to thrive. Cottage Gladioli bulbs are best left in the ground year after year and will bear more blooms as they establish. You will need to dig and divide only every four or five years depending on conditions.
Cottage Gladioli flowers should be picked as the first bloom opens.
