Moroccan Snowflake
A rare treasure.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
You are sure to adore these dainty Snowflakes come winter. They hail from the rocky soils of Morocco and Tangier. Up to five pendent, white flowers open above the leaves and ring in the August breeze. A collectors item to be treasured.
They will gradually multiply into nice clumps and you will soon wonder what you did without them! The foliage of Moroccan Snowflakes is narrow, blue green and grows to around 30cm tall. They flower after the more common, Leucojum aestivum.
They are an easy and more hardy alternative to Galanthus and just as graceful.
Tough and hardy bulbs for naturalising, the longer they have to establish the better they will be.
Plant them three times as deep as the bulb is high in a moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water in, then keep just moist when in active growth. Nature will generally take care of the watering for you at that time of year. You will only need to lift and divide the bulbs when they become overcrowded.
