Salvia ‘Salvatore Blue’ offers a long season of impressive colour, from late spring right into autumn. This compact plant is easy to please with rich rewards.

This well branched plant has abundant, upright stems of deep blue florets. The cool colouring that is accentuated with dark stems.

Salvias have so much to offer gardeners and there is an impressive array to choose from. What distinguishes Salvia ‘Salvatore Blue’ is its compact form and impressive flowering period.

It is a strong performer in both gardens and pots and bees and other beneficial insects will flock to it. The foliage grows low on the stems so will overflow from pots, softening their edges and make you look like an expert green thumb.

Grow in a sunny location in well drained soil. These Salvias are dry tolerant once established and look wonderful in beds, borders or dry gardens. They have a vigorous growth and are easy care, with solid heat tolerance and frost resistance. Remove spent flowers to encourage even more blooms.
