Creamy white petals with a soft, baby pink flush.
The magnificent Mistral Anemones have been recently imported from Italy and they are bellisimo!
Bred for pots and gardens, these floriferous plants have really impressed us. They will flower early, have great botrytis resistance and produce plentiful, lasting blooms with lovely tall stems.
The handsome foliage of Mistral Anemones is light green and heavily dissected.
The flowers last up two weeks in a vase. An added benefit of cutting the flowers is it encourages more flowers to bloom and longer stems, so you can enjoy them inside and out.
Plant Mistral Anemones in humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Fertilise regularly and they will deliver you rich rewards. (These small corms grow quickly and bear lots of blooms so they need a good amount of nutrition to flower at their best.)
Mistral Anemones were bred by Biancheri Creations of San Remo, Italy. Their breeding program combines tradition with research and focuses not only on creating amazing flowers, but also on producing quality, early flowering plants with high production and consistency. They concentrate only on three flowers, Anemones, Ranunculus and Poppies.
