Sensational, plum red petals with a midnight blue centre.
These magnificent Mistral Anemones have been recently imported from Italy and they are bellisimo.
Specially bred for pots and gardens, they are floriferous plants in the most amazing array of colours. They have larger blooms, flower earlier and offer great botrytis resistance.
The handsome, light green foliage of Mistral Anemones is heavily dissected with a lovely, soft feel.
Mistral Anemones are great for picking and will last up to two weeks in a vase. In fact, cutting the flowers has the additional benefit of encouraging more to bloom, with longer stems, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds.
Plant Mistral Anemones in humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Fertilise regularly and they will deliver you rich rewards. These small corms grow quickly and bear lots of blooms so they need a good amount of nutrition to flower at their best. They average 10-14 weeks from planting to flowering.
Mistral Anemones were bred by Biancheri Creations of San Remo, Italy. Their breeding program combines tradition with research and focuses not only on creating amazing flowers, but also on producing quality, early flowering plants with high production and consistency. The company concentrate only on three flowers, Anemones, Ranunculus and Poppies.
