Species Tulip 'Bronze Charm'
Bronzed beauties.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
These brassy gorgeous flowers glow in the sun. The golden petals have decorative, deeper bronze flames running through them and mature to apricot. They open wide with the sun on 20cm stems mid season. Mixing them with other species tulips in gold and red shades and you will enjoy a sizzling display.
Tulipa batalinii is very similar to T. linifolia. Yellow tulips are singled out in the Batalinii Group.
Species Tulips have a more relaxed or whimsical feel than the common hybridized varieties. And are ideal for rock gardens, lawn plantings, pots or towards the front of a border.
If planted in a well drained soil, in a spot that does not get too hot or wet over summer then the bulbs can be left in the ground for many years where they will gradually multiply. Hailing from Uzbekistan they love cold winters and hot, dry summers and don’t mind poor soils.
