Artemisia Grey Lace

An easy grow, dry tolerant plant with plenty of appeal. The fine, lacy foliage is a dream in gardens or pots. It provides a lovely contrast amid the green of the garden and adds beautiful texture. When brushed against it has a delightful, earthy aroma.

Quick to establish, Wormwood ‘Grey Lace’ is well branched and establishes quickly as a handsome, compact mound, right down to soil level.

Small golden flowers open summer to autumn, but it is really for the foliage that this plant is grown.

Artemisia ‘Grey Lace’ is virtually bulletproof. Grow in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Once established it is dry tolerant. Choose a sunny spot and prune back late winter or early spring to allow the new foliage to shine through. In more mild climates you are unlikely to have to prune.
