Hebe 'Violet Cushion'

This hardy, evergreen shrub is naturally compact with round, mounding growth that is covered in violet purple flowers late spring, with a repeat show in autumn, all without you having to lift a finger. It will even spot flower throughout the rest of the year.

Embodying the latest and greatest breeding techniques it is tolerant of heat, humidity and frost. They are so easy to care for. You don’t even have to remove the spent flowers, the new foliage will cover them over before they flower again.

The handsome foliage is narrow and dark green. Hebe Bloomin’ ‘Violet Cushion’ is a nice little shrub for a mixed border, containers or even as a small hedge. They cope well in an open position and don’t need any fuss.

Plant into any well drained soil. Water to establish, it takes plants around for weeks until their roots penetrate the surrounding soil, they become dry tolerant once established, so you will only need to worry if rainfall is low. Add some fertiliser in autumn to keep them happy and healthy.
