A sensational lemon and lime bloomer. Bred in Australia by plant doyen, David Glenn, this is a reliable and is absolutely garden worthy. The dwarf foliage is nice and upright and holds well.
Kniphofia ‘Ascot Lemon’ is an extremely hardy plant. Kniphofia are noted for their easy care, and dry, heat and frost tolerance. The bright, colourful flowers last and last and can even be picked and enjoyed indoors. Or left outside where birds and beneficial insect pollinators can enjoy them.
Kniphofia ‘Ascot Lemon’ is ideal as a border plant (excellent in combination with agapanthus), as specimen plants or in large containers.
Grow this evergreen perennial Kniphofia in well drained moderately fertile to humus rich soil, they are quite adaptable. Plant in a sunny location and water in. They are dry tolerant once established though will flower better with moisture. Easy and reliable.
