You will swoon over these little fairy flowers.

The soft mound of petite, dissected foliage is topped with plentiful ruby pink flowers from late spring into summer. The flowers are then followed by decorative, feathery, silver seed heads.

Cutleaf Anemone ‘Rubra’ is ideal in a rockery, pot or towards the front of a garden bed where they can be adored. The flower heads grow to around 3cm across. They combine well with other rockery bulbs such as Crocus, Dwarf Iris, Muscari, Mini Daffs and more as they will keep the colour coming.
The leaves have a soft covering of hairs which lends a beautiful softness to the plant.
Plant in moderately fertile to humus rich soil in a morning sun or part shade position. It is an easy care plant with semi evergreen foliage. We recommend you cut it back early spring to make way for new growth. Water to establish (it takes around four weeks for the roots to penetrate the surrounding soil). Their roots don’t go very deep, so regular watering is ideal if rainfall is low during their growth. The seed is viable and can be left to fall, or collected for sowing.
This Anemone is commonly known as Cutleaf Anemone, Mountain Windflower or Red Pacific Anemone.
