Agapanthus 'Golden Drop'

A bold and beautiful, compact evergreen Agapanthus with dazzling flowers and fine foliage.

The slender, evergreen leaves have a soft, golden variegation which really sets them apart. The dainty, soft blue flowers crown the leaves throughout spring and summer, stretching up to 40cm tall. Beneath, the leaves grow to around 20-25cm across and up and down.

Agapanthus look great as part of a border, used as edging or in clumps. This compact form also works well in pots and even does well in coastal gardens.

Tough, hardy and dry tolerant too! Agapanthus are easy care plants that provide months of flowering with very little effort. The gorgeous, strappy, evergreen foliage is the perfect complement to the airy blooms.

Plant Agapanthus ‘Golden Drop’ in a full sun to part shade position. Moderately fertile to humus rich soil. Water well to establish, it takes at least four weeks of regular watering for the roots to penetrate the surrounding soil, once it has settled it is quite dry tolerant. Remove spent flowers to encourage more blooms.
